All of our instructors are very passionate about jiu-jitsu. They compete regularly in jiu-jitsu competitions and are always continually striving to improving their game and their teaching methods.

 
 

Francis St-Amour

Francis has been training since the summer of 2013. He won a gold medal at his first competition after 6 months of training and that's when he decided to focus only on BJJ for his martial arts training. He received his brown belt from 10th planet montreal's Louis Ho and also trains under Corey Guitard. He competed and medaled in multiple SAU, Grappeling Industries, Sub X and Montreal Invitational. He competes everytime he gets a chance and is always looking to improve his skills as a competitor and teacher.

Thierry Henri Côte

Thierry started training in 2013. Thierry has competed in several tournaments and is trying to spend as much time on the mats as he can. Thierry is a brown belt under Corey Guitard of 10th Planet Montreal. Thierry started his journey in the gi but now his focus is on no-gi submission only jiu-jitsu. Thierry enjoys wrestling, leglocks & playing guard.

Mikael Hatch

Mikael is a very technical grappler who is very passionate about jiu-jitsu.He’s a bluebelt under Corey Guitard. You can spot him in his natural habitat coaching students on the side of the mats. Don’t be fooled by his blue belt, Mikael is a very dangerous grappler.

Fred Dalcourt

Fred is a 10th planet bluebelt. He’s also a professional dog walker. When he’s not busy walking dogs or training on the mats, you can find him playing boardgames or prepping a freestyle battle. Fred hosts our positional sparring class on Thursday nights.
